November Meeting: We were thankful to have Kent Alger from Three Rivers Marine talk to us about fishing for local Steelhead and a different perspective on float fishing.
Elections: At the November meeting we had our elections for the 2010 Club Officers. Next Year we will have new officers Harry Dahlner as President and Roger Anderson as V. P. Ernie Anderson and Tom Nordin will continue as Treasurer and Secretary respectively. Also announced were the following Chairs: Newsletter & Membership - Tom Nordin; Prizes - John Dunkel, Jim Warberg, & Ernie Anderson; Steelhead Contest - Jim Grimes; and Sturgeon Outing - Don Oster.
Annual Christmas Banquet: Our Annual Eastside Steelheaders CHISTMAS DINNER, Dec. 7th at the Fall City Grill (across the Snoqualmie River from Fall City, on the Hwy 203 fork), is NEXT MONDAY. If not already signed up and desire to attend, please E-mail Milt Keizer immediately at mlkeizer@comcast.net<mailto:mlkeizer@comcast.net> or telephone him at 425-222-4515 to see if there is any space available. There might be a prime rib or two available (the roast has already been ordered). Likely, the only meal option for those who have not already made reservations, will be chicken.
Social "Hour" is from 5:30 to 6:45pm, by which time
we are seated and the staff begins serving...the raffle of about 125 items
starts at the end of the meal. In addition, all the women will receive a door
prize. And, all fishing members should remember to bring a handful of lures to
be donated to and hung on or placed under the "door prize tree" which each year
is brought by John Dunkel (and is not part of the prize).
We now have the costs for the dinner. with the chicken at $15.50 and the prime
rib at $21.50, the same as last year. Those prices include tips for wait staff,
soft drinks with meals, and the exclusive use of the facilities. Kids' meals
may be ordered from the menu. Alcoholic beverages and desserts may be ordered
but are paid for by individuals.
Rich Maki, of the Fall City Grill, reminds us of the etched glassware that his brother can supply by Christmas, if we order SOON. Check with Milt for ordering details.

Bring a Guest: Think of a friend or acquaintance that you could ask to the January meeting Guests will receive a free raffle ticket to the month monthly raffle. Last month we had one guest, Kurt Singleton.
