Next Meeting: at the Overlake Round Table Pizza Restaurant Tuesday, April 22nd, 7:00pm Attendance Drawing: Mark Gavin was lucky last month with his name drawn in the Attendance Drawing. He was able to pick up the $20 pot. For April the pot returns to $10. Marc April Meeting: Our speaker this month will be Tom Pollack, who will discuss Shrimping and crabbing
Marc April Outing: Rick Michaels, Ernie Anderson and John Dunkel tackled the 12-day Spring Chinook fishery in the Lower Columbia . Although the WDFW reported a fine fine season, the catches must have been in the Portland stretch, where the average wait at the lauches was reported at about 4-hours. Our gr Our group concentrated about 60-miles downriver. Most days were uneventful, but they were not alone. The fish checkers spent most of their time checking empty empty boats. Rick's boat went just 2 for 16-mandays, although they did add a landing net to their catch.
April Cast For Kids’ Fishing Event: Club members are invited to participate in the the Cast For Kids’ Event at Gene Coulon Park in Renton JunJj June 7th. Those wanting to help out need to call Jim Owen (425) 251-3214 to get registered to participate and get any details you may need. Those Sturgeon Trip: Don Oster was able to get a hold of the Four Sea’sons out of Sea Breeze Charters for June 5th & 6th (Thursday & Friday) This This should be the best tides of the season. The Four Sea’sons will handle up to 16 passengers. Boat space is almost filled up with only two spaces on Thursday and one space on Friday left. Tentative price is $85.00 per person per day, plus tax. Mark your calendars and make your reservations. Don’t forget reservations for accommodations. Depos Deposit ($45) will be due at the meeting, so bring your checkbook. Picture Board: Bring new photos. The old pictures have been removed and board is ready for new ones.
