Next Meeting: Tuesday, October 23rd at the Overlake Round Table Pizza
NEW TIME 7:00pm!!!
NEW TIME: Remember the new meeting time, which has been moved up 30-minutes to 7:00pm.
Attendance Drawing: Pot is up again. Whoever had their name drawn last month was not there. So another $10 got added, bringing the pot up to $60. The drawing will be promptly at 7:00pm, so dont be late.
October Meeting: Be sure to go through you closets, garages, tackle boxes, and wherever you may have fishing, hunting, outdoor, and any other gear that you think someone else may want more than you do. Also, is there some type of service you can offer, such as boat trips, walk-in trips, hunting trips, rod and/or reel servicing or anything someone would be interested in bidding on; be creative. This month we will be having our infamous Annual Service and Tackle Auction. This is a fun fundraiser for the club, and members go home with lots of useful stuff, and some not so useful. Some of the things, especially services, are not available elsewhere, or if they are, then you would have to pay considerably more for them.
October Outings: Fish, fish, everywhere! This October you will have plenty of choices of what is available and where to fish. You can fish for Salmon, Steelhead, or both. We had a great outing last year on the Cowlitz for Kings and Silvers and would like to repeat it this year. We will discuss the details at the meeting.
As for Steelhead, a number of Club members will be making their annual trek to the Grande Ronde and Snake Rivers following the October meeting. Check with Jim Grimes on the availability of cabin space, as he will be staying there for about a week and a half and will enjoy sharing stories and cabin costs.
New Club Energy: We are looking for ways to improve membership, bolster activity in our outings, new activites and/or projects, and a steady supply of entertaining and informative programs for our meetings. Bring your ideas to the meeting.
Chrismas Meeting: Milt Keizer has confirmed with the Fall City Grill that we will have the 10th of December for our Annual Christmas Dinner. Be sure to mark your calendar.
New Member: Dick Geissler joined last month. His phone number is (425) 255-4116, address is 619 Blaine Ct., Renton, WA, and e-mail is rgeissler2@comcast.net. He has been to some previous meetings, including last Christmas.
