Next Meeting: Tuesday, May 22nd at the Overlake Round Table Pizza

Attendance Drawing:  Pot is starting to grow again.  Dave Ponting’s name was drawn, but he was not there.  So another $10 gets added, bring the pot up to $20.  Don’t miss your chance at the pot, be there and be early.  The drawing is promptly at 7:30 pm.

 Pre-Meeting Chow and Chat:  Come a half hour or hour early (whatever your schedule will allow) to the meeting.  Several members already do, but the more the merrier.  Have dinner here before the meeting; order a pizza, grinder, or whatever and pull up a chair.  This allows a more relaxed time to exchange fish stories and general chat between club members.

 May Outing:  Several members got together on May 12^th  at Fall City.  In preparing for the upcoming season, they cleaned up trash from several sections along the Snoqualmie River: the Tokul Creek area, including parking areas, bridge, and overlooks; Plumb’s Launch; the White Bridge; the Fall City business drift and areas in between.  In addition, they cleared the brush along the Flag Pole drift.

 Sturgeon Outing:  Ernie Anderson informed that Captain Ron is skipper a new boat this year.  The new boat, the “Shamrock”, is a little smaller than the “Big Dipper”; 47.9-feet vs. 52-feet, so it is pretty well “maxed” out.

July Picnic:  Ernie Anderson has reserved the “Red Barn” at Carnation’s McDonald Park for Tuesday, July 24^th.  This will be our regular meeting night.  Keep your calendars clear of other conflicts so you won’t miss this summer favorite.  More details will come as we get closer to July.

 Miscellaneous:  Milt Keizer scored at the Northwest Outdoor Writers’ Association Annual Conference.  He won a ton of prizes, several of which have found their way to the Club’s raffle cache.  Thanks, Milt.
