Next Meeting: at the Overlake Round Table Pizza Restaurant
Tuesday, September 27th, 7:00pm
September Meeting: As of writing time our program is still up in the air. We have a few 'pokes in the fire' but nothing firm yet.
August Meeting: Thanks to Roger Anderson for his timely presentation on local Humpie fishing.
Annual Service and Tackle Auction: It's only one more month before our Annual Service and Tackle Auction. Start looking for items you no longer treasure. One man's junk could be another's treasure. Of course you are not limited to junk. Any item that you think fuel bidding activity is encouraged to be donated to the auction. Fishing trips and other services are also welcome and generally produce the higher bids.
Salmon Trip: Following last month's meeting six club members headed down to Ilwaco for two days to go after Salmon. The first day they had the boat to themselves and had a good day; limiting the boat out on Silvers and Kings. The second day was not quite the same. Not only were they joined by three more fishermen but heavy seas hampered their style. The catch rate was cut in halve, But John Dunkel did manage to find the largest fish of the trip - a 35-pound King.
Garage Sale: The garage sale was a success. With the donations from Puget Sound Anglers and the proceeds from the garage sale we have sufficient funds to secure the security system that will be given to the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery. We will get a full report at the meeting.
Christmas Party: It looks like we will be having our Annual Christmas Party at Woodinville's Italianisimo Ristorante. Harry Dahlner is checking to make sure of the date and should be able to report to us at the meeting .
