May Meeting:  After having the February meeting cancelled because only a few were able to show up due to bad weather, Jim Owens of Cast for Kids has agreed to come back to tell us of the program.  Several clubs members have participated in past years.  This project is a great opportunity to get kids (and their parents) started in fishing.  For the volunteers, it’s fun and rewarding.

April Meeting: We like to thank Tom Harwood for the program last month.  Tom gave an informative talk on antique fishing stuff.

Sturgeon Trip:  We will be on the 'West Wind' this June.  Don Oster has us booked for Friday and Saturday, June 3rd and 4th.  The boat is a little smaller than the one we've been on the past couple of years, so there are fewer spaces available.  Check with Don to see if he can still get a spot.  Bring your checkbook because $45 deposits are due.

Salmon Trip:  Jim Warberg has reserved a boat out of Ilwaco for Fall Kings for August 25^th and 26^th.  There are only a few spots left, so contact Jim if you are interested.  More details will be available at the next few meetings.  Deposits of $60 will be due by the June meeting.

July Picnic:  The summer picnic is not that far away.  We are planning the picnic on our regular meeting day, the fourth Tuesday in July (July 26th).  Details in the planning will be worked out at the Board Meeting between now and then.  You too can begin by planning what you will bring for the "dessert" auction; especially, if you need brewing and aging time for your special product.  Unless there is a change in the membership, it looks like the split will be those with last names starting with A through Ga will bring cold dishes and Ge through Z will bring hot dishes.

Christmas Party:  The place where we have had our annual Christmas Dinner Party, the Other Place in Fall City, is no longer in business and does not appear to be an option for this year.  Over the next few months the Board will be looking for new sites.  Any suggestions from the members will be appreciated.

Bits and Pieces:  Welcome to new member, Daniel Breen, who signed up last month and a welcome back to past member Marty Landers.
